1. Scope of This Policy
This page explains refunds and cancellations for purchases and engagements with Sizaan FinTech Private Limited. It has two parts: our ebooks, and our professional services.
2. Ebooks (Digital Products)
Ebooks published by Sizaan are sold through our storefront at shop.sizaan.com. Because ebooks are digital goods delivered instantly on payment, and consistent with the treatment of digital products under the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, ebook purchases made via shop.sizaan.com are non-refundable and non-cancellable once the download or access link has been delivered, except where the file delivered is materially defective, corrupted, or does not match the product described at the time of purchase. If that happens, contact us at info@sizaan.com within 7 days of purchase with your order details, and we will arrange a corrected file or, where that is not possible, a refund to your original payment method. shop.sizaan.com carries its own refund terms at checkout for that transaction, which apply alongside this policy. Select titles are also available through third-party retailers such as Amazon; purchases made through Amazon are governed entirely by Amazon's own refund and return policy, not this page.
3. Professional Services
Cancellation and refund terms for consultancy, Virtual CFO, tax, accounting and other professional engagements are agreed individually as part of each engagement letter and payment schedule, since these services involve professional time typically billed against milestones or hours already committed. In the absence of a specific written term in your engagement letter: work already performed, or hours already committed, at the time of cancellation is non-refundable; any advance paid for work not yet started is refundable, less any processing charges actually incurred.
4. How to Request a Refund or Cancellation
To raise a refund or cancellation request, write to us at info@sizaan.com with your order number or engagement reference. We will acknowledge your request within 48 hours and, where a refund is due, process it to your original payment method within 7–10 business days of approval.
5. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services or in the law; the "Last updated" date above will always reflect the current version.
